As a rule, after reclassification the vessel is assigned a “lower” Ice class than previous one of the foreign classification society. In this case and subject the ship owners request, a calculated analysis of the Ice class compliance with rules of RMRS is performed and a list of measures necessary for the Ice class “increase” is determined. Additionally LLC “VITKO” offers the service of “increasing (improving)” the existing Ice class RMRS during reclassification of the vessel. This work includes development of the project for the vessel modernization with detailed description of measures for the hull and propeller-steering complex retrofitting. All stages of the project development are agreed (coordinated by, approved by) with the shipowner, taking into consideration (considering) the technical equipment of the vessel and necessary means and materials for the project realization.
